MACHINE BUILDING

We offer machine builders and OEMs the possibility to work with call-off contracts or consignment stocks, whereby AMW produces in series, keeps finished products in stock, which are then delivered on demand. Such collaborations enable efficient production at AMW and reduce inventory at the OEMs.

Plungers

High pressure plungers with RAM® coating for reciprocating pumps or compressors. We have proven experiences with plungers that are used in application at pressures of +1000 barg. Thanks to our super-finishing capabilities, Ra values of 0.01 μm are possible with RAM® coating.

Shafts and sleeves

We make all kinds of shafts and shaft sleeves in carbon steel, low-alloy and high-grade steels, corrosion-resistant, stainless and high-alloy materials. More complex shafts with partially welded-on high-grade (e.g. Hastelloy) corrosion protection layer are also among our specialities.

Piston rods

We have many years of experience with piston rods whose sealing surface is treated with RAM® coating. With extreme precision, the piston rods are rough-ground and finished with the correct surface profile according to the packing requirements. In addition to RAM® coating, we also offer other surface coatings per your specification.

Valve parts

RAM® coatings are typically used in metal sealed ball valves, in which both the ball and the seats are treated. In addition to ball valves, the coatings are also applied to segment ball valves, through-conduit gate valves, and plug valves.
